Position Overview:

TasoTutors is seeking highly motivated and knowledgeable individuals to join our team as Tutors. As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students' academic success by providing personalized instruction and support. We are looking for individuals currently enrolled in graduate school with a passion for teaching and a strong academic background. Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students in your assigned subject area(s)
• Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on students' needs and academic goals
• Provide instruction in a clear and concise manner, utilizing effective teaching strategies and techniques
• Assess students' understanding of the material and identify areas for improvement
• Help students develop effective study skills and organization techniques
• Offer guidance and support in completing assignments and preparing for exams
• Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to share resources and best practices
• Stay updated on current educational trends and methodologies related to your subject area(s)

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a relevant field
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the subject area(s) you wish to tutor
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students of all ages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Patience and empathy when working with students who may be struggling academically
• Reliability and professionalism in fulfilling tutoring commitments
• Flexibility to accommodate varying student schedules and needs
• Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and digital tools is a plus

As Student Ambassadors, you will play a pivotal role in promoting Taso Tutors' services, engaging with your peers, and encouraging them to sign up for tutoring. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain real-world marketing experience, and make a positive impact on your school community.

Responsibilities:

1. Promote Taso Tutors: Serve as the primary point of contact between Taso Tutors and your school community. Actively promote the benefits of tutoring services offered by Taso Tutors to your peers, teachers, and administrators.
2. Peer Outreach: Engage with your fellow high school students and inform them about the tutoring services available through Taso Tutors. Utilize various communication channels such as in-person meetings, presentations, social media, and other innovative methods to effectively reach your target audience.
3. Sign-Up Assistance: Provide guidance and support to interested students during the sign-up process. Assist them in understanding the tutoring options, matching them with suitable tutors, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
4. Build Relationships: Establish strong relationships with your peers, teachers, and school staff. Act as a reliable resource for academic support, addressing questions, and providing recommendations when appropriate.
5. Represent Taso Tutors: Serve as a brand ambassador for Taso Tutors at school events, fairs, and other relevant gatherings. Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor while representing the company.
6. Feedback and Reporting: Collect feedback from students and tutors, sharing valuable insights with the Taso Tutors team. Provide regular reports on your activities, successes, and challenges faced during your ambassadorship.
7. Training and Collaboration: Attend training sessions provided by Taso Tutors to enhance your knowledge of tutoring services, marketing strategies, and communication techniques. Collaborate with other Student Ambassadors to share ideas, best practices, and support one another.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a high school student in STEM courses.
• Strong academic background with at least 80% or higher.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about helping others succeed academically.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to fulfilling responsibilities.
• Ability to effectively present information and engage an audience.
• Proficient in using social media platforms and other communication tools.
